Taytay, Rizal —The celebration of the Lord's Supper marked the beginning of the Sacred Paschal Triduum of Christ's passion and resurrection. This Triduum has its center in the Easter Vigil and closes with Vespers (Evening Prayer) of the Sunday of the Resurrection, as stated in the Universal Norms (18-19). Christ accomplished His work of human redemption and the perfect glorification of God principally through His Paschal Mystery, in which by dying He destroyed our death, and by rising restored our life.

The solemn celebration of the Lord's Supper started at 7:00 in the evening, presided over by Rev. Fr. Marvin Tadena, PSDP, and con-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ronaldo Eborde, PSDP, Rev. Fr. Ronnie Lapara, PSDP, Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP, and Rev. Fr. John Mark Regañon, PSDP. A key moment of the liturgy featured the traditional washing of feet, symbolizing humility, love, and service, as a group of men, representing the apostles, embodied a cross-section of the community.

Following this, Holy Communion was given, and a solemn transfer of the Most Blessed Sacrament to the place of repose. The faithful, devoted their time to adoring the Blessed Sacrament throughout the night, deepening their reflection and prayer in preparation for the continuation of the Triduum.
