Nazareth Formation House Officially Opens Sportsfest 2025

Calbayog City – The Nazareth Formation House Sportsfest 2025 officially began today, 26th of January 2025, with joy and excitement. Fr. Jeffrey Singzon, PSDP, opened the event with a prayer, entrusting the sportsfest to God’s guidance. Rev. Keirstin Lamparas, chairperson of the Sports Committee, gave an inspiring message, reminding everyone that the sportsfest is not just about competition but about teamwork, friendship, and unity.

This event is an important part of the formation of young candidates, helping them grow in discipline, cooperation, and a sense of community. Through sports, they learn to balance competition with mutual respect, building character and strengthening bonds.

The two teams, Pilgrims and Hope, were introduced with cheers and enthusiasm as everyone expressed their readiness to give their best in every game. Aspirants and formators participated actively, showing the true spirit of the Nazareth community.

Who will win, Pilgrims or Hope? While the answer is yet to unfold, the real victory lies in the lessons learned, the friendships built, and the unity strengthened. Let the games begin!
