Nazareth Formation House Community Watches the Concert of the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra

Calbayog City – After the busy preparations and celebrations for the Feast Day of St. John Calabria, the community of Nazareth Formation House was invited on October 15, 2024, to witness for free the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) in concert for the first time. The event was held at the sports center in Calbayog City.

The PPO, the resident symphony orchestra of the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), brought a beautiful blend of music and culture to the audience. The experience reminded the community of the importance of music and culture in faith and formation. Music has the power to uplift the soul, inspire deeper reflection, and connect people with their inner spiritual lives. In the formation process, cultural experiences like this concert can broaden perspectives, enhance emotional understanding, and encourage a more profound appreciation of God’s presence in all forms of beauty and creativity.
