Nazareth Formation House Begins Novena-Mass to St. John Calabria

Calbayog City: In the spirit of the Year of Prayer, Nazareth Formation House has begun its Novena-Mass in honor of St. John Calabria, running from September 29 to October 8, 2024. With the theme “St. John Calabria: A Champion of Evangelical Charity and Trust in Divine Providence,” the daily Novena-Mass is celebrated at 6:30 AM at the Nazareth Formation House Chapel and features different Mass presiders and sponsors for each day. Each morning’s celebration is followed by breakfast, sponsored by various benefactors and many other kind-hearted devotees.

The Calabrian family, devotees, and visitors are warmly welcomed to join in this special time of prayer and reflection, honoring the legacy of St. John Calabria. The series of Masses aims to foster a spirit of unity and trust in Divine Providence, echoing the saint’s commitment to evangelical charity and service to others. The celebration will culminate with a special Feast Day Mass on October 8 at 4:00 PM.
